Wilderness Ice Fishing - At the foot of Hardangervidda
At the foot of Hardangervidda

Wilderness Ice Fishing

Silence. Crisp air. The thrill when you feel a bite beneath the ice.

What to expect

An exclusive wilderness experience on frozen lakes

This is ice fishing as it was meant to be — far from the crowds, deep in the tranquillity of Norway's winter wilderness. We head out onto pristine frozen lakes at the foot of Hardangervidda, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and silent forests.

After a snowmobile ride and a trek on snowshoes, we settle down on the ice. Your guide will show you how to drill holes, set up your gear, and read the subtle signs of fish activity beneath the ice.

All fishing gear and safety equipment is provided and we'll bring tents for shelter if needed. As you wait for a bite, soak in the serene beauty of the winter landscape — perhaps even catch a glimpse of wildlife in the distance.

Wilderness Ice Fishing

If you've fished before, we'll help fine-tune your setup and technique. If you're new, we'll make it simple and fun — and happily celebrate your first catch together!
